REFLECTION FOR DAY THREEHelo !!attention please !!!
Here are my reflection for today.
I think the meta research is more effective than invisible web.I think the reasons are because the results shown are closer than subject directory and it is also more relevant to my research topic .It contains resources from other research engines as well. For subject directory it only contains 170 results which is not so sufficient .Also some resources are irrelevant.
However the invisible web is also quite useful in term of knowledge it is more relible than the results shown on using search engines. It is because the results shown on research engines are more open to public and sometiomes even opinions from personal blogs. For invisible web we have to sign in for example the TP library database hence it is more reliable .
I think I will use the invisible web for my own research in my own diploma . I think it is quite useful because the research results are clear and arranged. We can arrange the resources according to Date , source , Author, relevance more over the research is more specific and scientific .
Besides that we have also learnt on Include site feeds nto personal blogs.By using site feeds we can view other people's reflections and passages without the templates. This makes their blogs looks more effective when we want to concentrate on the contents. So I found it is quite useful.
I think it is good to make links with my friends ' blog so I can read more and understand my friend better. Do you agree with me??
I had chosen Complete Planet , at first I typed all the keywords that link to my research topic but there is no results showned then I changed to only two keywords for my research topic.then 40 results were found and they are quite relevant to my topic .It also shows the date of the source.However when I open the link it does not show the relevant topic directly but only the website hence I found it is not so efficient for research compare to other research engines like Meta Search Engines.
Searching TP'S Databases:ITPRO
I could not find any information on my research topic for ITPRO .The reason is beause the resources it found only on IT problems like The Software Optimization Cookbook when I rearch on impact of fast food .The results shown are not relevant to my research topic !Maybe we can try IT problems next time by useing ITPRO.
